It’s Time to Celebrate

It’s my fur baby’s birthday this week! Rambo will be officially 2 years old…where the heck did the time go!

We recently had friends and family over for a BBQ and a few friends brought their dogs along too. We had a puppy there that was only a couple of months old and to tell you the truth I was a just a little worried. Rambo’s a big dog and he’s notorious for flinging his paws around and not realizing just how big he is. So I was a little worried that he’d play too rough with the new puppy. But I never should have doubted him. He was the perfect dog that anyone could ask for. He was really gentle, and even let the puppy crawl all over him and play nip at him. Rambo even played babysitter for a little while and when the puppy whined from being lonely, Rambo would go over and keep him company. It was adorable! He was so calm and so good! He must be growing out of the rambunctious puppy stage which is awesome!

This photo makes me giggle! He just looks so excited and happy, like he usually is! He brightens my day everyday. If ever I’m grumpy or sad he always seems to make me smile or laugh, wether that’s by doing something stupid or just demanding attention and petting like he usually does. I don’t know what I’d do without a dog in my life, their unconditional love is always so wonderful to receive.

So this weekend I’ll be sure to pick him up a treat or a little something extra to celebrate his birthday! Do you celebrate your dog’s birthday? If so what kind of treat do you give them to celebrate?
