Popular honeymoon destinations

With the freezing temperatures and days of snow we’ve been having, I’m sure it’s got everyone thinking of warm sunny places! If you’re getting married soon I’m sure you’re also thinking about honeymoon destinations. I mean who wouldn’t want to escape to somewhere warm, especially right now?! So I went to Google and searched for top honeymoon destinations and here’s what I found!

  • Lanai, Hawaii
  • Jamaica
  • Riviera Maya, Mexico
  • Italy
  • Bora Bora, Tahiti
  • Cayman Islands
  • Marco Island, Florida
  • Costa Rica
  • Greece
  • Puerto Rico
  • Catalina Island, California
  • Los Cabos
  • France
  • Dominican Republic
  • Belize
  • Spain

If you could go anywhere for your honeymoon, where would you go?

On my bucket list is to visit every province and territory in Canada. I’m all about supporting local and supporting Canadian businesses whenever I can, so why wouldn’t I want to see this amazing country from coast to coast? I’ve been out west so I can cross British Columbia and Alberta off of my list, but I’ve still got a ways to go! Internationally I’d love to go to Scotland and Australia. Not only are the landscapes beautiful, but the accents of the locals there would be so cool to hear! I’m one of those people who loves exotic accents!

Of course when you’re planning your honeymoon it’s not necessary to have to travel far to enjoy some time away. You can always plan a ‘mini-moon’ where you stay for maybe just a weekend or a week in a city closer to home that you may not have been to or stayed at before. This way you can still relax after the wedding and enjoy your newlywed status for a few days before you have to go back to the normal day routine back home.

But if you could go anywhere for your honeymoon, or just your next vacation away, where would you go?
